Employer Outreach

ELENA offers several features to automate and streamline employer engagement.

  • Customizable, integrated employer intake forms for the employer to complete, and can live wherever you wish. The employer data automatically updates in ELENA and is ready for use.

  • Use our Employer Interest Search tool to filter by employer industry and the work-based learning (WBL) experience or experiences they have selected.

  • Over time, you will build a large pool of employers that you can easily filter through to find the perfect match for your WBL needs.

  • Additionally, ELENA simplifies outreach by connecting to your email system, allowing you to send mass outreach emails that appear to come directly from your email.

  • Using ELENA for outreach also enables you to generate reports to track your team's efforts and ensure you are maximizing your employer relationship strategy.

Data points such as the sector or industry of the employer and the specific type of WBL experience conducted, allows for in-depth reporting that not only categorizes the type of WBL experience but also assesses its quality.

  • By matching WBL activities to employer industries in a 1:1 ratio, ELENA offers nuanced insights that enhance the overall understanding and evaluation of work-based learning programs.

 ELENA FAQs

  • ELENA was created as a place to best track, manage, and develop relationships with your employer partners. While the platform currently does not have explicit fields to capture student data for a variety of privacy reasons, we are in process of making major changes for more robust captures. In the interim, many of our users have successfully managed individual student experiences in a variety of ways.

  • While teachers can have licenses to access ELENA, our system is designed to allow their participation without needing a login. Using our Work-Based Learning (WBL) Needs Request form, teachers can submit requests for WBL experiences, which are automatically sent to ELENA for coordinators to match with available employers.

    After a WBL experience has taken place, teachers can fill out our WBL Activity form, which will automatically upload that experience into ELENA. This allows teachers to contribute to the robust pool of data you can collect without having to log into yet another platform.
