Alfredo Mathew

Alfredo is a dynamic business development professional with over 20 years of experience building public and private strategic partnerships to close the equity gap.

He began his career as an award winning public school educator in the South Bronx where he was a founding teacher of a New Century High School, and later launched an IB Diploma program in Pasadena and participated in a turnaround of an East Oakland charter school.

Following 14 years in the classroom, Alfredo turned his focus to career readiness and for 5 years lead the strategic vision and programming for the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship’s (NFTE) implementation in California. The focus of his work was developing an earned revenue stream, expanding the reach and impact of NFTE programs, and relationship building with school district partners, corporations, entrepreneurs, and other education non-profit leaders in the pursuit of building career pathways to connect California youth from low-income communities to the innovation economy.

As the Director of Strategic Partnerships, Alfredo will help Earn & Learn create the business development pipeline for earned income and social impact investment to scale and grow the sustainability of the organization.
